Traditional & Tankless Hot Water Heater Solutions

The cost of a brand-new water heater unit can vary widely depending on the type & size (in gallons) of the water heater. This can vary considerably between the two types of water heaters; traditional tank & tankless. In addition, there are several other factors that can affect the overall cost of a tankless water heater installation or replacement:

What’s the Difference Between a Traditional Tank Water Heater & a Tankless Water Heater in San Diego: A traditional tank water heater stores gallons of water, so heated water is always available. A tankless water heater will heat up water on-demand, which will save you money in energy costs down the road. Tankless water heaters also save space, so they’re much easier to install in a convenient location within your home.
Is Gas or Electric a Better Fuel Source for San Diego Homes: This decision can be heavily dependent on your geographic location & local natural gas and electricity costs. However, it’s generally a bit more expensive for a gas water heater than an electric water heater.
What Size Tankless Water Heater Does Your Home Need: Tankless-style water heaters units are measured in gallons per minute in reference to on-demand flow rate, and commonly range from 4- to 8-gallons per minute. Keep in mind, the larger the tank, the more costly it will be for the unit itself & the heating costs. Let the plumbing experts at CastleWorks Water Heaters of San Diego help you decide which option is best for your home with an installation evaluation & cost estimate today!

No matter what your hot water needs are, our expert San Diego plumbers will determine the best tankless water heater type & size for you, with professional advice on your installation before any work is done. You’ll know exactly what solution is best & most affordable for your new tankless water heater; that’s our guarantee.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from Miguel from Castle Work. He gave an offer and lowered the price when asked for discount. Answered all my questions and given enough tips to troubleshoot common issues with the water heater. I thought of getting an electric hybrid water heater, I got the new gas system for an affordable price. Thank you CastleWorks.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our previous water heater cracked due to the age of it. We had our previous one for 18 years.
Chris Dohrer was the technician assigned to us he was very knowledgeable and efficient while replacing our old water heater. He explained all our options and cost associated to each one. We're thankful to Castle Works as well for scheduling the visit on Labor day and would recommend them if you needed repair or inspection in a pinch.

I talked with Jessica who was friendly from the moment she answered the phone and she got a professional technician to come out to the house within an hour an 1/2.
Miguel was amazing! He checked everything thing out before quoting us a price. He had everything in his truck! We didn’t have to wait until a week day to replace the tank!
His work was extremely clean and time efficient. He explained everything! Everything is up to code too now! Hope not to see you for another ten years! We got 13year on our last one! However, if something does go wrong I’m calling you guys!
Thank you, Castleworks! Your a top notch Company!
