I was taken advantage of by Scott Russon of Castleworks. I have a two year old water heater with a warranty & the electronic igniter went out. He charged me for repairs that had nothing to do with the issue. He did unnecessary work and claimed he ...replaced valves that were not replaced. I was told a supervisor would call me and I have not heard from anyone. I ended up paying $727 when all I had to do was reignite the electronic igniter. Purchased a water heater a year ago or two from this company definitely not the cheapest but I thought hey, I should get what I’m paying for and if I’m paying a hefty price, I should get the best service for some reason the inspector did pass the ...water heater at that time, but has returned to our home now that we’re doing some additional plumbing and let us know that the water heater was out of compliance because it is missing an emergency shut off valve. I called the company since the water heater comes with a five year warranty, expecting for them to return and do the full job completely right as it is something that is necessary and important for the safety. Apparently the company said that they could send someone out but it would not be something included and that it would be an additional cost at this time since the inspection at the time of installation was passed, though they know and agree that an emergency shut off is important and again it’s just disheartening that a company does not value the safety of their clients and trying to make things right it looks like here. The more important thing is making a profit and charging additional cost though they knew this was a necessary part of the installation. Therefore, I am sharing this unfortunate negative review and asking you to look for your water heater needs elsewhere as I am going to recommend that to my friends and family .Read More...
